Keeping Time Farm was established in 1988 by Annette and Kelly
Murphy. Annette has a lifelong involvement with horses as an
instructor and competitor, growing up on a farm in England and
achieving the Pony Club “A” rating and an Instructor’s Certificate
from the British Horse Society. Kelly has been a foxhunter and an
official for combined training and steeplechasing, and has been
involved in thoroughbred breeding since 1977.The farm is named after a thoroughbred gelding who was a foxhunter, combined training competitor, friend and inspiration. At Keeping Time Farm the horses lead a “horse’s life” as nearly as possible consistent with their safety and well-being. They live outside on sloping pastures in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. They are raised on the best available feed and forage, free of any artificial growth stimulants. Our objective is to produce a sound, healthy, durable horse with the physical ability and temperament to compete successfully.
We invite you to visit us and inspect our young horses. |
